Tweedy Dip Sweater

$8.00

I designed this sweater in collaboration with Hedgehog Fibers for her new yarn, Tweedy DK. This yarn is magic! It has recycled bits of fiber in every color, flecked into a cool neutral base so it literally goes with everything! When I first saw this yarn, I knew I wanted to design something really special with it. The yoke is shaped using a dip stitch (video tutorial link included in the pattern) as a decorative and functional increase! Its also super fun to knit once you get the feel for it. Enjoy!

Notes

This sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back for slight shaping. The yoke increases are created through the use of the Dip Stitch motif, included is a helpful video tutorial for how to knit the Dip Stitch.

This stitch is really quite easy once you get the hang of it, but I suggest you practice it on your swatch a few times before diving right in to make sure your tension is not too tight or too loose!

After the yoke the sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn or spare needles to be picked up and worked in the round.
