I have been knitting for over half of my life. I started designing knitting patterns in 2015. As I have grown as a designer, I have found that my new and most favorite part of the process is actually having a general concept of what I want to knit, but really letting the yarn inspire the design and then trying to design a piece that really celebrates the yarn (finding the perfect drape/stitch pattern/color/ technique to really make the yarn and design pop!) I have also found this process more organic and enjoyable, and it gives me the opportunity to be really relaxed and creative with the entire process.
