Yarn

Cedar House Yarns Old Growth Worsted (worsted weight; 100% super wash Merino wool, 199m/218 yards per 100g skein).

Shades: 

Yarn A: Toasted Marshmallow; 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7) skeins. 

Yarn B:  Ink; 1 skein

Yarn C:  Shale; 1 skein

Materials

4.0 mm/ US Size 6 circular needles, minimum 40 cm/16” cord.

5.0 mm/ US Size 8 circular needles, minimum 50cm/ 20” cord.

*Note on cord length: for the yoke and body section, especially the larger sizes, you may want a longer cord. 

For the collar and  sleeves, a shorter cord, DPN’s or Magic Loop may be used. 

1 stitch marker (you may find additional stitch markers helpful to separate chart reps)

Tapestry needle

scrap yarn or stitch holders for sleeves

Gauge

20 stitches x 24 rows in pattern for Body Chart = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” with 5.0 mm/

US Size 8 needles.

Notes

This sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back for slight shaping.  Increase rounds are worked in between the color work motifs. Change needle lengths as required as the yoke circumference increases.
