This cozy swoncho features bold eye catching color work motifs perfect for that extra special yarn in your stash! A video tutorial is included in the pattern for how I trap long floats when working this pattern. Learning this technique opened up a whole new world for my color work knitting and designing! Yarn

MC= Sugar Plum Circus BFL Dk weight yarn, Shown in Knight Scene,  Approximately 830 (880 , 980, 1010) (1110, 1190, 1268) (1330, 1404, 1490) yards, 

CC = Spincycle Yarns Dream State light worsted weight yarn, Shown in Salty Dog. Approximately 220 ( 230, 240, 250) ( 290, 305, 330) (350, 365, 380) yards

A note on yarn choices; I find Dream state to be a light worsted, so if you are not using it as your CC, I suggest subbing another Dk yarn in its place. 

Materials

US Size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord.

US Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord.

US Size 8 (5.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 9” cord.

*Note on cord length, for the yoke and body section, especially the larger sizes, you may want a longer cord. 

For the sleeves, a shorter cord, DPN’s or Magic Loop method may be used.
